Overview
The University of Roehampton Pathways provides an easy transition to a UK degree. It's for international students who can't meet the requirements for an undergraduate course.
The Pathway College is part of the University of Roehampton – a campus university in London. It's just 30 minutes away from London city centre and has beautiful green surroundings.
The pathways on offer are the International Foundation Programme and International Year One. Expert tutors help students develop their English language and academic skills. Those who complete the programme can progress to study for an undergraduate degree at the university.
For the International Foundation Programme, there are two and three-term options, depending on the learner's English language ability. Students choose subject-specific modules in:
- Business
- Humanities
- Science
This helps them gain the knowledge needed for their chosen undergraduate course. They also build general academic skills and prepare for their future careers.
The International Year One (Business) is a 9 month programme designed to equip students with the necessary linguistic and academic skills and business-specific knowledge to be successful in the second year of their chosen undergraduate degree and beyond.
The University of Roehampton is home to more than 10,000 students. It provides extensive support to all, helping everyone reach their goals. Each student becomes a member of one of the four historic colleges each provides an inclusive and supportive environment.
The university has a Silver TEF award as well as great graduate prospects. 92 per cent of students found employment or furthered their studies within six months of graduating (DLHE 2017).
The Pathway College is a partnership with QA Higher Education. It provides validated programmes taught by both university and QA Higher Education staff.
