Founded in 1972, the University of Limerick (UL) is a leading university located in the heart of Ireland, well regarded for its high standard of tuition and quality of research output. UL has become one of the top universities in Ireland, and is ranked among the best 100 Young Universities in the World, with a ranking of 35th globally for research impact by the Times Higher Education.
The university's Limerick campus sits within a magnificently landscaped 130-hectare site, complete with riverside locations, parkland and open green spaces. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, distributed across four academic faculties, the Faculty of Science and Engineering Education and Health Science Kemmy Business School and Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
