Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Red River College (RRC) is Manitoba's largest applied learning and research institute. It has earned a strong reputation for preparing its graduates to become leaders in their fields.
RRC is strategically located in Manitoba's key locations, from downtown Winnipeg to regional campuses, all in the heartland of Canada. The city plays a crucial role in the financial, manufacturing, transport and agricultural industries, which are the keystone of the North American continent. Winnipeg itself has all the benefits of a contemporary cosmopolitan city with close proximity to Canada's natural landscapes. Pristine forests, great lakes and beautiful natural landscapes surround the city, and are easily discoverable for those with a taste for adventure.
The college offers students more than 200 full and part-time courses, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as many diploma and certificate options. RRC has an extremely high- quality of both hands-on and online tuition, encouraging a varied and comprehensive learning environment. RRC ensures that its students can meet changing industry demands and contribute to the region's economic growth. 98 percent of RRC graduates choose to stay and work in Manitoba after completing their studies.
RRC has eight campuses across Manitoba, including several located in regional communities. There are close to 22,000 students enrolled at the College, and incoming students join a sizeable global learning community. 24 percent of RRC students are international learners, representing over 60 countries.
The college provides a wide range of programs in areas such as aerospace business creative arts health sciences information technology intensive English and transportation technology. RRC's Language Training Centre in downtown Winnipeg welcomes more than 1,000 newcomers each year, maintaining partnerships with post-secondary institutions in Japan, India, China and Brazil.
