International Education Center at Diablo Valley College

The International Education Center at Diablo Valley College is a fully-accredited English language school located in Concord (the heart of California?s San Francisco Bay Area). Since the year 2000, the institute has provided English language instruction and a path to college and university acceptance to students from more than 40 countries.

IEC?s programs are designed to help students by offering effective and intensive English language classes, providing a stimulating learning environment, helping them find housing arrangements that suite their best and allow them to constantly improve their language providing opportunities to get involved with the community, make friends and a new home environment for their time in the Bay area and also creating a network of friends and mentors that students will have for years to come.

Teachers hold graduate degrees and have years of teaching experience, furthermore, many have taught abroad in countries such as Austria, China, Germany, the Republic of Georgia, Japan, Korea, and Spain. IEC organizes many activities that allow students to explore Northern California and practice their English. Activities are social (such as movie days) or academic (such as trips to local universities).
